Hi, I’m Charlotte. Thank you for joining me here. I have created this site as a place for community and connection, because a lot of people share many of the same interests as me, from world adventure to art, philanthropy, and the future of work, and some will confront the same problems, such as how to live a purposeful life with incurable breast cancer.
Global thinker, grounded New Zealander, living deliberately.
As a partner, a woman in business, a mother of adult children, an advocate, and a person with unquenchable curiosity about the world and how we can make life better for all people, I hope to share what I’ve been learning along the way. Feel free to stay a while, have a look around, and if you’d like to get in touch with me, this is the place. I would love to hear from you.
Since my diagnosis in early 2021, I have ticked off many items on my bucket list, and the next one to come is a milestone family trip to Egypt to celebrate my 60th birthday next year.
I’ve learned to live deliberately. Whether it’s a walk in my garden, a quiet moment with my children, or a conversation that makes someone feel seen – those are the things I treasure now. When you’re told your time might be limited, you stop living on autopilot. Every moment becomes a choice. I choose joy. I choose connection. I choose to make every day count. Maybe this resonates with you, too.
As Chair of Te Papa Foundation and Givealittle, I make it a priority to stay close to art and to the real initiatives I deeply care about.
